એકદન્ત દયાવન્ત ચાર ભુજાધારી |
મસ્તક પર સિન્દૂર સોહે મૂસે કી સવારી ||
Ek Dant Dayavant, Char Bhuja Dhari |
Maathe Par Tilak Sohe, Muuse Kii Savari ||
O Lord of compassion, You have a single tusk, four arms. A beautiful vermillion mark on Your forehead, and You ride on Your vahana (carrier) which is in the form of a mouse.
પાન ચઢ઼ૈ ફૂલ ચઢ઼ૈ ઔર ચઢ઼ૈ મેવા |
લડુઅન કા ભોગ લાગે સન્ત કરેં સેવા ||
Paan Chaddhe, Phul Chaddhe Aur Chaddhe Mewa |
Ladduan Ko Bhog Lage, Sant Kare Seva ||
Devotees offer you paan (betel leaves), flowers, mewa (fruits), and sweets in the form of laddus, while Saints and seers worship You.
અન્ધન કો આંખ દેત કોઢ઼િન કો કાયા |
બાંઝન કો પુત્ર દેત નિર્ધન કો માયા ||
Andhe Ko Ankh Det, Kodhin Ko Kaya |
Banjhan Ko Putra Det, Nirdhan Ko Maya ||
You bestow vision to the blind, chastened body on the leprous. You bestow children to the barren (sterile) woman, and wealth to the destitute.
સુર્યા શામ શરણ આયેસફળ કી જીયે સેવા
માતા જાકી પાર્વતીપિતા મહા દેવા
Surya Shyam Sharan Aye Saphal Kije Seva |
